Indian Railways has started the operations of trains at limited routes. The special train ticket prices update is out now. It came as a boon for those who were willing to relocate to their respective native cities under strict surveillance and guidelines set by the government of India.

 In our previous post, we had updated you about the complete list of trains and the stoppages which the Indian Railway decided to run post-Lockdown 3.0. Since we all know that there would only be A.C. coaches in the currently running special trains, everyone is speculating about the ticket pricing in these special trainsRailRecipe is trying continuously to keep you updated regarding every piece of information related to Indian Railways during this lockdown period. Here we are bringing you the updated pricing of the tickets in various routes as applicable from 12th May for these special trains.

New Delhi-Dibrugarh

For trains canceled till 17th May 2020 by Indian Railways, a full refund will be provided automatically by IRCTC. Users need not cancel their e-tickets, and the fare will credit into the user’s accounts without any deduction on the same payment method. Dynamic pricing applies to these prices.

Other Updates on these special train ticket prices include:

  • The national transporter has set special norms for air-conditioning inside the coaches, and temperatures will be kept slightly higher than usual.
  • The official said that the Special trains would run at total capacity. Still, railway zones have been instructed to ensure that there are separate entry and exit gates at stations to the extent feasible so that there is no face-to-face movement or contact of passengers.
  • The railways have asked the passengers to arrive at the railway station 90 minutes before the departure of the train.
  • Thermal screening of passengers will be done before they can enter the station premises.
  • The official said that wearing masks has been made mandatory.
  • Passengers have been encouraged to carry their blankets, water, and food for the travel.
  • Food on train order online will be resuming from 1 February 2021.
