According to the statement given by Central Railways it is said that train services will facilitate the travel between Mumbai and Mai/Kochuveli during the summer season. Routes and Timings of Summer Special Trains
Indian Railways always introduces various trains in India because a large number of people prefer train journeys. Rail passengers need to know about all the detailed information like routes, timings etc about the train. Passengers can easily make their reservations for the summer special trains 01079 and 01463 on special charges. The ticketing system of this summer special train will be computerized by IRCTC (Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation) website. These two summer special trains will leave on 10th April and 12th April respectively.
List of Summer Special Trains
CSMT-Mau Special Trains (Total 4 trips)
- The summer special trains number 01079 is a special train that will leave from CSMT Mumbai at 22.35 hrs on every Wednesday. This train trip will start from 10th April and 1st May, 2024. This train will arrive at Mau on the third day.
- The second special train having train number 01080 will depart from Mau at 13.10 hrs on 12th of April on Friday and 3rd of May 2024. This train will arrive at CSMT Mumbai railway station at 00:40 hrs on the third day.
- These two special trains will make a total number of 4 trips from CSMT to Mau and Mau to CSMT. This is to let you know that these two special trains will make stops at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Bhopal and other railway station nearby Mumbai.
- Indian Railways had introduced all the possible facilities for the passengers like well-organised seating arrangements, clean and well-maintained washrooms etc.
- These summer special trains will have 2 AC – 3 Tier, 18 sleeper coaches and 22 ICF coaches.
LTT- Kochuveli Weekly Special (24 trips)
- Train number 01463 is a weekly special train that will depart on every Thursday from LTT Mumbai on 11th of April, 2024. The train will reach Kochuveli at 20:45 hrs on the next day.
- Train number 01464 is also a weekly special train that will run on every Saturday at 16.20 hrs from 13th of April, 2024. This special train will depart from Kochuveli and it will arrive at LTT Mumbai at 21.50 hrs on the next day. These two special trains have all the possible facilities for the passengers. These trains have 1 First AC, 1 First AC cum AC 2 Tier, 2 AC-2, 6 AC-3 tier. This train also has 8 general second class coaches as well.
- The main stops of these special trains are Thane, Ratnagiri, Madgaon Junction, and Ernakulam Town. These trains will make a total number of 24 trips from Mumbai to Kochuveli and Kochuveli to Mumbai on a weekly basis.
